This is a fun activity for a seasonal (Thanksgiving) literacy center (Word Work) to have students practice their sight words. Using a magnifying glass, students try to find all the sight words hiding in the picture (27 sight words in each picture). As they find each word, they write them down in their recording sheet. When the sheet is full, they can read the words to a friend.
Includes 4 different pictures with their recording sheet, addressing 48 sight words: a, I, so, we, on, am, it, one, two, three, four, five, of, at, see, and, his, was, in, the, like, what, has, my, can, yellow, green, blue, red, white, brown, up, you, if, are, she, hot, had, to, not, come, is, with, an, me, now, did, as.
Have a happy Thanksgiving!
