Brought to you by Kodaly Music With Mrs Perry, this treasure if perfect for Halloween.
Here is what you get:
RHYTHM WORK: tika ti (lemonade), both prep and present / practice
Tap under the crown and to light up the correct rhythm of tika ti. Tap the crown and be rewarded with "Yay". Tap the wrong crown and hear a disaproving "Oh, my...". On the present page, tap the "lemonade" rhythm and it flies away, leaving the "tika ti".
STORY OF PEER GYNT: Here you will get the condensed version of the story that leads up to the final portion of the story, "In The Hall Of The Mountain King". I provide props and ask the children to act it out as I read it aloud, ending with a listening of the piece.
I include a facsimile of a note card and ask the children to listen critically to the selection and write their own story that goes with the song.
MUSICAL SELECTION: is embedded in the pages.
