This slideshow guides students through an analysis of Ezra Pound's poem, "In a Station of the Metro" and William Carlos Williams' "This is Just to Say." It is designed to introduce advanced analysis by explaining Imagism and comparing these two poems against each other. This comes with a teacher's guide with additional supplementary information for each slide. It also comes with a student handout version of both poems.
