Are kids constantly coming up to you tattling? My classroom has been full of it. After searching for a way to put an end to it, I stumbled upon IN vs. OUT. Its a simple question kids need to ask themselves before they tell me something about someone else. Is what I'm going to say getting someone OUT of trouble or IN trouble? I went over this with my kiddos then posted the poster and before someone told me something I would ask, IN or OUT and point to the sign. Soon they started asking each other before they would listen to one another's gossip! It worked better than I'd hoped! Hope it works in your class too!
