In the Jar! A Number Identification and One-to-One Correspondence Game is a two - four player card game that is sure to amuse while reinforcing number identification (0 - 20)! This game contains 20 number cards, 20 picture representation cards, and 6 jar cards and has several options for use, allowing you to use it as needed for your students.
To play, place all cards in a jar (or similar item). Students take turns pulling out a card and identifying the number shown. If identified correctly, s/he keeps the card. If identified incorrectly, it goes back in the jar. But watch out! If a jar card is chosen, ALL of that player's cards must go back in the jar! The winner is the player with most cards at the end of 10 minutes.
Options for use:
-Include fewer jar cards
-Include only numbers or only pictures
-Make multiple copies of the pages with the numbers you are focusing on
-Use the cards to play Memory or Go Fish
-Use the cards as a deck and not in a jar
-Match the numbers to the picture representations
