HFW: in, the, I, like, play, to, with, my, go
How I use this in my classroom:
Day 1: I read the book to my students. I usually display using my projector.
If I print it out, I put it in our class library.
Day 2: I create a pocket chart set for our pocket chart center. We read together. I drag one of my charts to the front of the room in front of the students.
Day 3 or more: I bring it to our reading groups.
On a subsequent day, you could graph what their favorite summer activity would be. I would totally add the shark to our choices.
To use: NO cutting. Just fold the papers in half word side out and stack. Then staple, making the pages stronger with the fold on the page turning side.
