This is a fun, original picture book giving details of animals that live in the rainforest and how they are in danger. The book is a poem that can be read or sung to the tune of "Over in the Meadow." It is great for practicing numbers, rhyme, rhythm, and of course learning about animals or the rainforest. You can print the pages, laminate them and bind them into a book, or simply use them as posters.
It also has factual pages filled with information about the rainforest and the animals in the story. They are intended for you to read before reading the story aloud, to give some extra background knowledge as you read to your students. They can also be used by students who are doing research on an animal or the rainforest.
