Inca Empire Myth-Busters! Students explore Inca culture, life, & religion!
This Inca Empire Myth-Busters activity is also included as part of the much larger Mesoamerica Unit Bundle:
The Mesoamerica Unit: 8 fun, hands-on resources for the Incas, Aztecs, & Mayas!
In this highly-engaging Inca Empire Myth-Busters activity, students investigate six different statements on life in the Inca Empire, then either "prove" or "bust" each of the statements!
Students are engaged by evaluating six different myth sources and learn about Inca religion, government, climate and geography, education system, and the famous Inca trail (network of roads). After reading each statement, students try to find the myth source that helps them either "prove" or "bust" the statement!
Tons of fun, a great way to teach investigative skills in Social Studies, and an easy way to engage learners on the major aspects of the Inca Empire!
