Using Incentives/Reward Coupons is an inexpensive way to encourage students to continue to do their best. Each page contains contains 6 coupons with the same incentive using different color borders - you just need to print them out on plain paper and cut apart. You could print them out on card stock and laminate them to reuse them over and over again.
I have included a set of blank cards for you to add your own incentives. If you would like me to create additional pages, send me a message and I will see what I can do.
The Incentive coupons can be tailored for your individual class needs. Here are some ideas:
**They can be earned with good behavior points tallied throughout the school week
**They can be handed out when a student is “caught being good”.
**Coupons can be “purchased” with behavior points that are earned and each coupon can be worth different amounts.
**You can use “Pay it Forward” options if you want to stress helping one another one month.
**f the students are setting goals and meeting them, use the coupons to reward their efforts.
Example of how you can use them:
**If you have students who don’t like to write, use the coupons as incentives for writing. Start out with something as simple as rewarding them for not complaining during journal writing, etc. Work your way up from there.
How the coupons are used really depends on the dynamics of the classroom. How they are used can also be tied to Common Core Standards.
