Love task cards? Need help with working in transition goals to your everyday routine! This product is the answer!

Increasing student transition skills are essential for students to have successful and independent lives once they graduate high school. Making sure that students develop an understanding of the process it takes to move out on their own and be productive citizen is crucial to their long-term success. These cards cover a variety of topics that are all important in being able to live independently after high school. These task cards can be done in a variety of ways. The following are some ideas about how to utilize them in your classroom.

Start a Task Card notebook. Make copies of the task cards add two or three to one page to print. Pass out a task card each day. Have students glue the task card into a notebook and then write their answers below.

One a day – pull one task card each day to discuss with students. Most are open-ended and allow for students to talk openly about what they think the answer may be. It also may be helpful to discuss how to find the answers if students don’t know.

Game it Up- use the task cards split them up among students in teams. Give students a certain amount of time to answer as many as they can. Whichever team answers the most correct, wins!

For easy storage, you can put each task card set on a ring, or in a sandwich sized ziplock back for easy storing.
