Product Description

Do you ♥ independent reading?? Independent reading in the middle school and high school classroom is powerful! These digital independent reading accountability graphic organizers for Google Slides will help your students reflect on their reading life and keep track of books they want to read / books they are finished reading.

In the beginning of the year, I usually start with book talks; this year, I tried book “speed dating” to launch our independent reading goals for the year. Students “met” books they wanted to read, wrote down the titles, and went to the library to check one out. Two months later, lo and behold, a lot of students had lost or misplaced these lists.

I’ve created the “book list” slides to help students (and their teachers) keep track of the books they want to read and to hold students accountable for reading (in a low-key way that is does not emphasize grades, but rather celebrating the books students have finished.
