Ever wanted a colorful, fun activity for students to do after reading their choice of nonfiction?
Here it is.
It's designed to be flexible. For example, let a student choose an article on NewsELA or a magazine and then they fill this in on Google Slides, through Google Classroom. You also get the PDF version so you can print out the handout on paper.
You can either use this as two separate handouts for different occasions, or combine the two to make one double-sided hand out.
The questions were inspired by the practices suggested in "Reading Nonfiction: Notice & Note Stances, Signposts, and Strategies" by Beers and Probst.
