Students match dependent and independent statements . They can work as a group, with a partner, or individually to make their matches before gluing them down. They will create one of their own also!
Then they will write a complete sentence to compare the independent and dependent event. They must also decide if the type of correlation is positive or negative.
My students for the past two years have loved this activity and have said that it helped them understand independent and dependent events!
