India and South Asia Geography. Five themes of Geography. India. Pakistan. Bangladesh. Sri Lanka. Delhi. Mumbai. Calcutta. Madras. Karachi. Himalayas. Ganges River. Indus River. Brahmaputra River. Pollution. Government. Location. Place. Human-Environment Interaction. Movement. Region. Latitude and Longitude Activities. Fidget Spinners.

This is a Geography unit on India and South Asia that assesses ALL five themes of geography! This is super engaging and helps students understand India and South Asia in depth. Some geography activities only focus on locations on a map, but these stations help students understand the location, place, human environment interaction, movement and regions of India.

Included in this resource are:
Location - Students identify locations on a map and latitude and longitude for various locations. There is an optional fidget spinner activity where students can race to find the answers before the spinner stops spinning. The students LOVE this!
Place - Readings with pictures about the Himalayan Mountains, Rivers, India, and Pakistan to help students describe the areas.
Human Environment Interaction - Students read and investigate how students have altered the Ganges River, and how they use it.
Movement - Students answer three questions about movement by undergoing research on a computer. The students design a product using either PowerPoint or Google Slides.
Region - Students answer two questions about the regions of India by undergoing research on a computer. The students design a product using either PowerPoint or Google Slides.

I hope that you LOVE this resource! Please follow on TpT, Instagram, or Facebook for updates!
