This document is centered on Indiana's Academic Standards (IAS) for 5th grade mathematics that were passed in 2014.
Every standards is covered in this packet, with most standards having more than one problem to cover all aspects of that particular standard. Check out my preview file to see what a typical page looks like.
Each academic standard is labeled before the problem(s) that pertains to it. I also included some humorous math clip art I made to lighten the mood of any test taker. I hope your kids get a good laugh!
This document could be helpful for 6th grade students to review at the beginning of the year. I use it to see what my 5th graders are retaining, and what could use review as ISTEP approached. You could also use it throughout the school year as an additional progress monitoring test.
I will edit this if the standards change. Indiana Standards are extremely similar to Common Core with the differences being Indiana has mean, median, and mode being covered, as well as area of triangles, trapezoids, and parallelograms.

*A special thank you to the Envision Math Curriculum for helping me understand some of these standards, so I could create story problems.
