Help create a beautiful space on your classroom walls with these Indigenous Ten Frame number posters. This set includes numbers 0-20 with ten frames, digit, and number words. They are great to keep up as a reference all year and to reinforce number and ten frame recognition.
These Ten Frame posters offer a creative way to introduce and incorporate Canada’s rich Indigenous culture to your students. The number on each card has a white trigon shape and matches the number being counted. The trigon shape is a traditional shape used in Coast Salish design. The dots in the ten frames have an indigenous image, which also features the traditional symbols used in art and carving. These shapes play an important part in the culture and history of First Nations and Indigenous Peoples of Canada.
There are two sizes to choose from to print – full page and half page. Each half size poster measures approximately 5” x 8” – they are printed two to one sheet of paper (8.5” x 11”).
Print these out on card stock, laminate, and hang on your classroom walls for a great reference for your students!
