Product Description

Students can use this worksheet to practice analyzing a character in any text through the process of indirect characterization. This sheet is also a fantastic visual aid to further help students remember the five elements of indirect characterization (STEAL). Specifically, students will provide evidence of a designated character's speech, thoughts, effects on others, actions and looks. Finally, they will craft a mini bio to summarize and analyze their chosen character.

Can be used with ANY TEXT!

BONUS IDEA: This worksheet can be used as a prewrite to help students create realistic and well-thought out characters for their own narrative or other writing task.
