My students had a really hard time understanding what the indirect and direct objects were in the sentence, as well as where they go in the sentence. Therefore, I created this worksheet (actually, it was a quiz at first!) that allows students to break down the different parts of the sentence: The subject, verb, indirect object, and direct object. They first identify all of these parts, change the IO to and Indirect Object Pronoun, the DO to a Direct Object Pronoun, and eventually rewrite the sentence.
**This could also be used as a game or quiz**
Although this is a long process, it really allows students to develop an understanding of the function of each part of the sentence and therefore a better understanding of the Spanish language in this aspect.
This product includes:
~10 questions (5 pages) of sentences involving direct and indirect object pronouns (some of them both, some of them only direct)
I hope you and your students enjoy this product! I also have another product, which is a Go Fish game helping students ask and answer questions using IOPs and DOPs:
Indirect / Direct Object Pronoun Go Fish Game
Indirect / Direct Object Pronoun Practice Worksheet
