I used both of these clip charts for two students with behavior problems. It worked very well with them. They are editable and so you can add your own goals, rewards and consequences. It is a great visual for that student and it gives them something tangible.
The clip chart with the smiley and sad faces I laminated it and they had to earn two smiley faces before they could clip up and before they would clip down they got two x's. It is a great way to also keep yourself accountable for the amount of warnings and praises they receive.
One of the clip charts also includes a spot on the side of the chart to put a short explanation of what happens at each color. It is very helpful for specials teachers, subs, paras etc. so there is consistency in all the classrooms the student is in.
Also, included is a tracking sheet I would attach to the back of the chart for every week. I would track how many times they got on each color. It makes it easy for tracking their behavior and converting that to data for IEP meetings or SIT meetings.
