The Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) is a written treatment plan that maps out the Early Intervention services a child will receive, as well as how and when these services will be administered. It details the child’s current levels of functioning, specific needs and goals for treatment (referred to as outcomes).
An Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) is a planning process which ensures that everyone who works alongside an individual who experiences disability works in a co-ordinated way towards goals which reflect concerns and priorities. An IFSP meets the individual needs of the child and their family and the process is based on a family-centred approach.
