Make indoor recess fun with these 52 challenge cards for cold or rainy days. Teaching in Minnesota, our schools almost never closed due to inclement weather, but there were always many days in the spring and winter that children could not go outside to play. I found that indoor recess worked best when I kept my students engaged doing fun activities. These engaging challenges can be completed in pairs or small groups within the classroom and work best under supervision.
