This chart by Brandon Flatt Teaching Resources allows you to set voice levels within your classroom. There are six levels: 0 for quiet, 1 for whisper, 2 for small group, 3 for class discussion, 4 for attention getter, and 5 for loud and proud. Just indicate what level you want your students to observe and (hopefully) avoid having to tell kids over and over how loud or quiet they should be for each activity.
