Struggling to find a way to teach students the differences between Inductive and Deductive Reasoning? Try this teaching bundle!

Inductive and Deductive reasoning are very complex skills to teach to students, especially when so many internet resources give inadequate information on the skills.

This bundle includes a 43 slide PPT to guide students through creating, evaluating, and identifying both inductive and deductive reasoning through Gradual Release. Answers and explanations are included in the PPT, as well as a few lame memory tricks to help students remember them.

Also included is a 3 page Exit Ticket and Answer Key and 2 page lesson plan.

Note: I have attended both state and local trainings on this topic and purchased many study materials to prepare for teaching inductive and deductive reasoning over the years. It has taken three years for me to feel like my students are able to grasp this concept, and this the current instructional delivery bundle for the lesson.
