Teach students about the Industrial Revolution in the U.S. through this amazing documentary project! Students will pick their own topic and explore the relationship between labor and capital during this period. Painstakingly designed with steps and scaffolds, this process will be easy to follow and allow the students to be in charge of their own learning! This lesson follows the "Project Based Learning" model and takes about 2 weeks to complete. Each group member has roles to insure maximum participation and accountability. The students will select a topic, research it by generating "Building Block" questions, and then create a storyboard, script, and film!
