PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This packet includes 6 primary resource and secondary resource documents which portray Andrew Carnegie and John D. Rockefeller as either a philanthropist or a robber baron. Students will read documents and then use the graphic organizer to figure out who the document was talking about and whether the document portrayed them as a philanthropist or robber baron. They will then decide if they agree with the document or not. Then students are asked to write an arguementative essay supporting their answer using text evidence from the documents. Great lesson for common core.
