Allow students to examine the Industrial Revolution through the analysis of primary sources. Take students back into the mines and the mills and let them hear the stories from those who lived at that time.
Teaching suggestions are included, but my favorite implementation strategy is to create small groups where students can examine the documents and images together to discuss the sources and their significance.
