Google forms allows educators to assess learning and gather data on student performance on content. The form is integrated with google spreadsheets and will allow the teacher access to the collected data. The data can be used to determine areas of need in making informed decisions for instruction. Students will receive immediate feedback once they have completed the assessment and submit it. Students will also have a copy of their responses emailed to them so that they can have a record that they have completed the assignment. The form can be shared with students through google classroom or by providing students with a link.
This product features 20 multiple choice questions that assess students on what they have learned in the Great Depression unit.

I like to use this type of assessment as a homework assignment that counts as a quiz. It gives students the opportunity to use classroom resources to answer questions before the end of the unit assessment. When students complete this assignment it allows me to look at the data to see where students may still be struggling with content. It allows me time to tie up loose ends and address weaknesses where students may be struggling with.
