This packet contains everything you need to perform a classroom simulation on Industrial Reform: Capitalism Versus Socialism. This is a perfect simulation to perform after your students have learned about the Industrial Revolution in England and all of the positive and negative effects the revolution had on England. This simulation allows students to get out of their seats, and interact with other students in order to understand the differences between the economic systems of Capitalism and Socialism while playing 2 short games using dice. After each short "game", students will help the teacher complete a chart which allows students to make a connection between the game they played and the realities of Capitalism/Socialism. An EXIT CARD activity is included! ALL TEACHING MATERIALS ARE INCLUDED: Step by step lesson directions, Comparison chart worksheet, ANSWER KEYS and coupons needed for the games.
