Industrialization: Inventors and Entrepreneurs Webquest
Students will gain basic knowledge about fourteen significant inventors and entrepreneurs from the 1800s to the early 1900s. The Industrialization: Inventors and Entrepreneurs Webquest uses the following great website.
My students enjoy learning new facts about important inventors and entrepreneurs from the website. I usually use this activity as a review or introduction activity for my middle school students and it takes at least one to two class periods for my students to finish. Feel free to modify this activity if needed to fit the needs of your students.

Alexander Graham Bell
George Washington Carver
The Wright Brothers
The following questions are covered are in the webquest for each person.
What year was this person born?
What country was this person born in?
What year and where did this person die?
Best known for:
What problems did this person overcome to be successful?
How did this person make their business more successful?
List two interesting facts about this person:
List two new fun facts about this person:
An answer sheet is not included, I just print off the biography from the website for each person.
