This bundle includes the unit powerpoint, guided notes, 9 activities including projects, handouts, graphic organizers, primary resource docs, etc. spread out to cover each major unit topic. It also has a review jeopardy game, quizzes and keys (can combine the quizzes to create a test if you wish).
Really neat activity is Edison's Mental Health Employee Test, which he gave all his aspiring candidates who had to get a minimum of 12/15 correct. I always challenge the kids to do as well as they can to meet Edison's requirements and ponder the idea of being able to work for one of America's greatest figures.
The PowerPoint is loaded with cool animations, pictures, quotes, video links, and interesting facts/vital content for students. It hits on key components of Industrialization, Big Business and the Labor Movement, Immigration, Urbanization and Native Americans. It is neatly organized and flows well. Look for the asterisks next to certain terms, people, etc... those are there for students to underline/highlight for the quiz, which means you don't need a review sheet because it's all there in the notes (assessment is located in the bundle package)! These notes go with the same titled powerpoint. They are concise and allow the students to focus on the lesson. They also have built in bellworks and focus questions. Please note they contain the content, but not quotes, supplemental information, etc. Basically, everything you need without dragging the kids down in detail.
