Industrialization and Minnesota's Iron Range

This power point explains the importance iron and the Iron Range in the development of the United States. The 30 slides of the power point mostly focus on the mines and mining communities of northern Minnesota. The slides show the company housing from the early 1900s and what life was like in the mines. The later slides show how the raw iron ore travels through the Great Lakes to cities like Detroit, Cleveland, and Pittsburgh. Feel free to modify this power point to fit your own needs.
