Solving inequalities to find out where in the world several of our best inventions came from.
2 GREAT ACTIVITIES:
1. Students are to solve inequalities that are assigned to an invention. Then students are asked to graph them on a number line. Then identify that inequality on a world map to determine what country that invention originated in.
2. A blank sheet is available for teacher to fill in inequalities they would like their students to solve and graph. This allows the chance for the teacher to modify the lesson for a few students or an entire class.
This activity can be an introduction to a science or discovery unit on inventions.
