This lesson gives students the opportunity to translate common phrases such as, at most, at least, greater than, less than or equal to, and so on, into their corresponding inequalities. Students will graph inequalities on a number line as well as explore why the inequality symbol changes direction when you multiply or divide each side of it by a negative number. They will also solve inequalities and graph the solutions. I hope this lesson gives your students a better understanding of this topic.
