***No prep lesson**** This is an inquiry lesson designed to help students better understand when to reverse the inequality symbol. Through an investigation of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, students will determine that the only time that an inequality symbol is reversed is when the inequality is multiplied or divided by a negative number.

This activity contains the guided notes for the investigation as well as an assignment that can be used to assess students' understanding. This is a great activity to start off your inequalities unit!
