This download includes three sets of task cards for students to work through. This includes solving two-step inequalities, graphing solution sets, and writing inequalities from a word problem. Each group of task cards is meant for a group of four students. Students will divide the cards evenly, complete what is given on the card, then trade cards with another student in the group to check their work. Groups can discuss their answers as a whole, then once everyone is in agreement, the teacher will check their answers and provide assistance as needed. Once the group has successfully completed the task assigned, they may move on to another task (they can be completed in any order). When I used this in my classroom, I provided students with dry erase markers, and they either wrote on the laminated cards or on top of the tables to record their answers. I also placed a set of three ziploc bags containing the tasks and instructions at each table for student use. Each activity needs to be printed as one-sided.
