Product Description

This powerpoint lesson uses a couple short examples where students make an inference about what is happening, then discuss the clues from the example that led them to that inference. The fun part of the lesson is when students act like "archeologists" and dig for inferences! Print out the pictures of the items, and crumple them up! Add random pieces of paper, then what I did was put all the crumpled up pictures and paper in a tub. Students work in a group to dig through the tubs to find the pictures, then make an inference about what could have happened based on the pictures!
