My students tend to have a hard time inferencing, or they just don't want to.
I started using mysteries that they have to solve to try and peak their interest, and they LOVE them. They're always asking if I have a new one for them to solve.
This is my first one, and I will be adding more.
In this mystery, students have to figure out who stole the will and testament of a famous singer. They have to read a background passage, answer clues, and then use clues to solve logic puzzles. They have to use their inferecing skills to determine who finally stole the will in the end.
