This is a matching game to solve riddles and clues to find missing words. In this activity students use puzzle pieces to construct a four piece page matching the pieces by answering questions and clues to four different answers. All four answers contain a word particle in common. After answering the four questions in a set, they have to guess (infer) the missing – common- word.
This game includes 30 sets of questions (puzzles).
It is recommended to print in card stock and laminate for durability. The cards need to be cut after laminating or can be used as whole cards for students to write with
wet erase markers.
The key included, could also become a game for younger students or for intervention activities.
