This activity is designed to help students infer information not directly stated in the text. Students will read a simple story and then select a statement card. Students will determine if there is enough evidence in the text to support that statement. Copy pages 3-4 on brightly colored cardstock, laminate, and cut apart. *Product revised - I found 2 cards were the same. I also added heading cards if you decide to sort on a T-chart or in a pocket chart.
