Product Description
These photos are great for inferring! Simply put one of these photos on the projector and tell the students to infer different things about the animals. The students will record three inferences on the inference sheet provided. (Two inference sheets per whole sheet of paper, you can either cut these and give them out separately or leave them whole and the students can fit two days on one sheet.) The inference sheet includes inference starter stems for the students as well.

Example:

Inference 1: I can infer that one tiger is bathing himself because he is licking his fur.

Inference 2: I believe that one tiger sees an airplane because he is looking up in the sky.

Inference 3: I can infer the tigers live in a zoo because of the background, it does not look like they are in the wild.

Each inference needs to include the inference and the “because” or the “why.”
