PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Teachable worksheet for using inferences with nonfictional text. Worksheet has sections of President Barack Obama's speech given on September 8th, 2009 to students as a Back to School Presidential Speech.
Have students read the sections, answer the questions on inferences and pull evidence to support those inferences from the speech.
The final question asks the students to infer who the speaker is and then there are extension activities to view the speech and/or read the entire speech.
Answer key included for suggested answers and to enhance discussion.
