Great for telepractice!

This packet contains fun, engaging activities that may be used to help early childhood and kindergarten students practice learning to make inferences, use pronouns (he, she, they, him, her, them), verbs (future and present tense) relating to playground activities, and basic concepts (top, bottom, high, low, between, on, beside, next to, middle, big, little, near, far, up, down, in, out, front, back, behind, same, different, above, below, upside down), as well vocabulary to state where the activity is happening (i.e., beach, water, country side, mountains forest, yard, meadow).

Suggested Activities
There are two pages for each scenario. (i.e., The first page has a only swing set.) In order to help the students make an inference, you could ask the students, “What do you think will happen next?’” The thinking bubble at the bottom of the page shows children swinging on the swings to help student make an inference. (i.e., “The children will swing on the swings.”) There is a picture in the thinking bubble for only the first two scenarios. Go to the next page and ask the question, “What is happening?” If needed, model the correct sentence pointing to the cue shapes at the bottom of the page. (i.e., “The children are swinging on the swings in the forest.”)

To elicit basic concepts ask where the children as well as the bunny are on each page.

See preview for examples.
