Updated*** MORE INCLUDED!
This bundle includes some smaller bundles that are in my shop. Inference from Simple sentences, inferencing from pictures sets 1 and 2 , inferencing from text sets 1 and 2, and Inferencing Picture Task Cards
This bundle is of worksheets where students will make inferences from simple sentences. They are given the sentence and they have to use what they already know and what they are given in the sentence to come up with an inference.
There is even two worksheets which are a challenge..... the students are given an inference and they must come up with a sentence that that inference can be made from. More for your higher thinking kiddos!
Inferences from pictures.. 2 sets!:
This is an inferencing bundle where students are asked to make inferences based on pictures that they see. For those of you that purchased my Inferencing Bundle: Making Inferences and Finding Text Evidence, this bundle with pictures may be a great pre-lesson to moving to text inferencing!
This picture inferencing bundle includes one page with basic illustrations/ guide as to how we make inferences and has 20 pages with pictures for making inferences. As seen in some of the pictures, there is a chart on each page where students first write what they already know, then write what they see in the picture, then make their inference based on those two things.
All pictures were taken and are owned by me!
Inferences from text with text evidence... 2 sets!:
This is a bundle of 20 original stories. Students are asked to read the story and then make an inference based on the story. They are then asked to provide text based evidence (three text details) to support their inference.
I have provided a cover sheet for you if you wish to make it into a packet for your students, Or you can just print each page as you plan to use them in the classroom. It can be used in centers, as homework, morning work, etc.
This resource includes 50 Task Cards which involve students making inferences from pictures they see on the card. There is a recording sheet included where the students must include the number of the task card, so the teacher knows which card the student was working with.
These would be great for literacy centers!
