This pirate filled interactive fun smartboard lesson provides practice using inferencing skills. This lesson was created to be used either in a teacher directed whole group mini lesson or as an independent activity in a center or station. All slides are self checking and link back to the main gameboard. Students begin by flinging the parrot to land on a pirate ship. Click on the ship and it takes you to a slide with a question that requires students to infer in order to answer. Questions are presented in a variety of ways making it interesting. You never know what kind of question your parrot is going to land on - some questions are higher level and more difficult which makes it fun. Great for Grades 3-5. Created with smartboard 11.
