This activity presents my remedial reading students with six scenarios, and asks them to infer character traits based on words and actions. Because this lesson serves as an introduction, the directions are pretty vague ("Describe the characters"), but we build on these ideas as the unit continues. I ordinarily have the students underline key details in the text that aided them in determining character traits, as well.
There is another part to this lesson ("Inferring with Pictures") available if you are interested.
Thanks for looking!
