This worksheet investigates infinite limits both graphically and algebraically. Students are asked to graph a function with a vertical asymptote and evaluate several limits. Students are also asked to construct a graph based of off several conditions. Then, the student is asked if a function exists with certain properties. Next, there are six infinite limits that students are asked to evaluate algebraically. Finally, there is an example calculation (the common "infinity minus infinity equals zero" mistake) where students are asked to point out any errors.
This is appropriate for AP Calculus AB or BC.
A detailed answer key is provided.
