Product Description
In today's world, it is especially important for students to understand how the economy works. Students hear people talking about money (and a lack of money) often but don't understand what this means. Students, even in upper elementary, can start to understand what inflation, recession, and depression mean in this simulation.

In this activity, students set up a mini-economy where store-owners set prices and money is introduced in varying amounts. Included are teacher instructions, student worksheets, and simulation cards.

**NOTE: This product is 49 pages long; however, the majority of this product is simulation cards. Money from another economics game could be used in place of the money cards and would require much less set-up.
