You might find it particularly useful for students who you suspect have Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), young children who are still developing their speech system, or those with highly unintelligible speech. A form is included so that you can phonetically transcribe or check off sounds that were made. Please note that transcriptions are NOT included, just the word with space to write down your own observations.

BOTH digital and a paper version is included for flexible use and on-the-go use!

That’s right, while it’s super easy to print, laminate and attach a ring binder clip for easy flipping, a separate PDF file has been added focusing on one sound strip per page to upload to your device. This is especially useful for your shy students, mobile therapists or students who respond better to digital presentations.

Contents
• 21 strips focusing on the following consonant sounds: p, b, m, n, y,w, h, t, d, k, g, f, s, l, sh, z, j, ch, r, v and th.
• The sounds are based on developmental acquisition of speech sounds, so you can always stop at a certain point if you don’t expect a student to have acquired a sound
• All images are in color - fitting 4 strips to a page. This means that they are not big and bulky - they save ink in printing being more long and slim.
• C - CV - VC - CVC - CVCV are included. Please note that the ‘C’ is a visual image of the mouth. There are some sounds that do not have words for some positions (e.g. VC for ‘h’).
• The ‘digitial’ version has 21 slides as they focus on one sound per page. You may still need to print the record sheets from the other document.
• A record sheet is included so that you can make notes about the child’s production.
