Writing Process Made Easy- Four Square Method

So many teachers hate teaching writing because they are unsure how to approach it. I have created an easy and effective way to teach the writing process with the Four Square Writing Method. Everything is color coded. The color coding helps the students learn the parts of a paragraph and how to put it together. This also helps visual learners and keeps students on topic to create longer paragraphs. I have included the Four Square Basic graphic organizer for students who are just getting started with the basic way of writing an essay. I have also included the Four Square Elaborate graphic organizer to differentiate for students who are ready for a challenge and can add elaborations to their details.

You can use this process for informational, opinion, and personal narrative writing. This method is easy to use! You will see your students writing five paragraph essays and feeling confident about their writing!
