I must teach health, but I'd prefer to infuse language arts skills into the lessons. I use the http://www.choosemyplate.gov web site to help me plan, and then I used district supplies and additional resources to write two articles and questions that are CCSS aligned, and can supplement the portion of the My Plate layout that has to do with fruit portion. I will be using this to ready my students for the PARCC test they will take next year.
